Hi, I'm A.P. Grow
By the time I had completed my doctoral research in Leadership, I already had several years of management experience under my belt. Trouble was, even with that experience and my studies, struggles I was having as a boss continued. In fact, sometimes the struggles even increased! Happily, in time, I figured things out.
What concerned me even more was hearing from contacts across the country, even the world, who were telling me about their own managers, many with several years experience, who weren't particularly good at managing (to put it kindly).
I was sure I wasn't alone in feeling that I never wanted to be seen as not a good manager. In fact, I wanted to be seen as really good one.
